It is okay to hit your adult daughter(23)in these cases who lives with you ?
Story:
I know I have a very bad temper and they think I behave like a brat all the time.
Today I wanted to get my mother’s phone, while she FaceTimed with my sister, cause I wanted to talk with her too. So my mom shouted to my dad for help, to stop me not to get the phone. So while I tried (playfully), he hit my leg with his hand ( left his hand mark there) then grabbed my hand and twisted it, while I tried to leave he hit me with a ?hook? (The thing you hang your clothes)
I don’t think it is right to hit anyone. After reading your story I don’t think it is a big deal if you want to get the phone .I am very sorry for you …
Hmmm??? Okay so how you reacted …like it happened that if you reacted normal they will think that you don’t mind …and obviously you love them and they love . In that case if you show some slightly reaction and just say that don’t do that …like not with extreme expression .maybe they will actually understand that .
They will say that I started it. And if I act “normal” this won’t happen. Sometimes they laugh.
But usually we “hit” each other playfully, but now happens more and more that the atmosphere changes and they hit me as hard as they want.( that actually hurts, but mine never)
Plus info:
I really love them. Until I become an adult, they never ever hit me, but now…
I think he does it like a joke, but become a habit or them.(to hit me when something I do annoys them)
( the whole thing started when we playfully hit each other’s bum, in our country it’s normal so please Don’t think any sexual thing… But after a while they hit twice harder the me… and here we are now…)
It hurts but nothing serious.
