We were in a relationship for almost 5 yrs and wer from diff religion …my parents were not willing to get us married…but his parents said if I convert they will agree…and I did…and we got married though my parents said they will Neva talk or have any relationship with me…but after 3 months of getting married they came to talk to us… accepted us…and it was beautiful…I felt like my life was perfect…but now after almost 2 yr of marriage…I feel I don’t know why I did a such a big sacrifice for the person who doesn’t even care about me now…we both are working…he Neva helps in chores…even when am having periods…he gets me totally irritated…like he doesn’t even care what am going through…he drinks 2/3 times a week…I can’t even talk or complaint to my parents about this…can’t hurt them anymore…don’t know what to d
I think your honeymoon period of relationship is over and the life is like a routine koind of thing that uh need to follow. I cant say much but i will suggest to bring the excitement honeymoon period back and communicate properly to ur husband what are you feeling and talk as much as you can to him. Have a convo for your feelings but it should not be a fight but understanding each other .
It feels like you want to make all the choices but do not want to deal with the consequences that comes with the choices. I know it seems like a rude thing to say but you have to realize that decisions taken are our own and no one is responsible for them. So what can you do? again its time to make a choice… fight for your relationship again or give up… which ever you choose is not going to be easy, how ever each will again bring consequences and again they will be yours to bear.
My suggestion is be happy with choices you make even if they are a disaster, at least you had the guts to make them not all of us get to be that brave… you are a brave gal… i believe what ever you choose you can make it work.
