uncomfortable. i broke up with someone that was bad for me recently, and i’ve been going back to him and then cutting him off again when i’m reminded how bad it is. he made me feel good about myself, he hyped me up soooo much, my confidence was so high. and now, going solo, my confidence is frustrated and low. rethinking my life entirely.
What you said is that, he made you feel good. What I heard was that you chose to feel good and confident around him and he was just a factor in your confidence. Confidence comes from inside when you want it to. When you want to act that way. It’s okay to feel a little disheartened, but that person doesn’t define you. you do to yourself.
You want to cheer yourself up and grow yourself? Try to reduce his attachment from your life( which I think you are trying) using different ways.
Go and binge-watch some action and thrilling films, read something, Maybe listen to the podcasts 🤷🏻♀️
When you try to detach yourself from him, you will know that you are capable of so many things, even without him. You don’t need him to grow, you need a mindset of growth. and that’s how you will start precluding yourself to go to him.
If he wasn’t good for you, he wasn’t good for you. I don’t have a lot of experience with relationships, the only one I had was toxic and didn’t last a week thank goodness. Try to be fair to him. If you’re going to cut him off, don’t keep coming back, it’s only hurting both of you. Be honest about how you feel. If you need him, try to find whatever it is you think you need in yourself.
