Ugh. I’m so frustrated . I’m giving a very important exam next month. I’m supposed to be studying a minimum of 6 hours a day and for the past two weeks I haven’t even been moving from my bed!! Barely doing 1 hour. It’s putting me off so much. And I’m a person who makes a schedule, doesn’t stick to it, gets frustrated that I couldn’t stick to it and ends up ruining my entire day and defeats the whole purpose, which was studying. I’m worried. I know I need to study. But I just can’t find the motivation to move.

damn really reminds me of my past, i was rlly frustated too but hey dont push yourself too hard. just give your bestest this time and after it finish, figure out how you really study. BUT forr nowww, just listen to any lectures on any subjects that you’re taking before you sleep, while chilling. Just try your best to relax and carry any books(exercise books w answers) and answer it time to time (maybe while watching tv try to answer 6-8 questions n). Read any short and effective notes

I feel like I wrote this post man all I can tell you is us procrastinators need to study differently I usually end up studying everything one night before so I suggest instead of putting the impossible 6 hour study routine.
Get up take one subject go to the library or any quite place but NOT your bedroom and study there. the biggest problem for us is our phones so turn of notifications put it aside and tell yourself just 1 chapter then take a breather and do the Q’s and instantly youll study better. do it regularly and maybe you’ll cover a good enough portion before the last week.
Now I suggest starting with subjects you like and studying the hell out of them so you can achieve maximum grades in them.
so that even if u don’t do good in the ones ur not good at I’ll be fine overall. hope this helps I’m trying this out this time so I hope it helps me too 😂
it’s risky but I got no other choice here with my habits.

And yes, I will definitely try that. Only thing is I can’t mug up a day before or even a week before bcuz it’s an entrance. So there’s a lot of competition ://

yeah overthinking is a bad habit trying to get rid of it, this app helps a lot tho. yea I guess that’s true you need to do past papers too. But still focus on subjects your good at to ensure maximum marks in them study smarter not harder is our last hope.

It’s just one of a trick i do while studying. Whenever i sit with my books and if there is any distraction or random thought that comes in my mind i write it down on a piece of paper and surprisingly it doesn’t pop us again. This trick has been tested by many renowned professors. Give it a shot and let me know

you’re not alone 😭😭 i’ve been demotivated this quarantine. tbh living at home suits me better than at campus but i don’t do anything and i submitted my work late because this semester is harder. i like my home environment better but not having friends around me makes it hard to study. if they are around i feel less ashamed to ask questions but without them i will sound stupid if i ask too much. it’s hard to study right now. i hope we can go through it 😔.

You have to remember why you’re trying to do well in school in the first place. When you forget to, procrastination is common. You also need to understand that time is the only luxury, because while you can always buy a new shiny materialistic item or sleep in all the time, you’ll never get the time back. Time’s going to keep moving forward whether you choose to stay in bed or not so why waste it being lazy? Just my 2 cents. Hope your feeling well and pass the test. 👍
