Honestly, I’m trying I really am, and it seems so pathetic because I know that I’m hungry, but when I do, I’ll just randomly start feeling bad for eating especially since I’m a dancer and I have to stay skinny, or I’m kicked off the team. It’s already hard to find a team due to my skin color, eating too much is just another thing. Then when I look in the mirror all I see is imperfection. In my family I’m criticized for not having a β€œfeminine” body or dressing size. It’s always β€œwhy don’t you have any curves you’re a girl.”, β€œStuff your bra with paper towel you’re to flat”," You’re so fat you should hold off on the eating for a bit yea…?" I’m so tired of it.

Well I’m a dancer as well and I agree that weight is a major topic but don’t turn towards fasting to control it because then the body stores the fat thinking it won’t get any food soon which just results in more weight gain even after regular exercise
