See if you have mutual friends then she will be a little comfortable. Or maybe try to establish or find any connecting links. Or nahi hai to communication skills ke zariye make her feel like she is doing nothing wrong going on a date with you.

well i often see her in canteen almost everyday and I think she is cute so i just wanna go out with her

Everyone is stranger until they meet and get to know each other Lol. I say just DM him and tell him you are interested and want to get to know him and of he likes to to get to know you. You will find out if he is interested or not. Try to chat/talk for a while before meeting. Be cool, funny and yourself… I hope all works out for you :)
