Sharing Our Innermost Thoughts

Therapy for toxic relationships is extremely important in my opinion. Toxic relationships are literally the worst!! Especially those ones where the people in the relationship are not even aware that their relationship has become toxic, because for them, it is a normal course of being. This presents a fundamentally problematic issue and for that very reason, therapy for toxic relationships is absolutely essential. Therapy is not a spoonfeeding solution for the problem at hand. Instead, it presents an opportunity for the people involved in a toxic relationship to introspect and realise what’s wrong and more importantly, why it’s wrong!! That introspection and subsequent realisation plays a key role in reducing the toxicity in the relationship overtime. Ideally, therapy for toxic relationships comes in the form of couple’s therapy, where the goal is to build better understanding between the people involved in the relationship. However, it will work only when people first acknowledge that their relationship is toxic, and then they are willing to work to resolve it in good faith, for the better. Hence, in this sense, therapy for toxic relationships could work for real!! It is the deal guys! Also, it is important to realise that, that willingness to work on the issues and resolve them should come from within the persons and should not be pursued because of pressure or force, because I mean, it’s obvious that unless the people involved don’t want it to work, it won’t work no matter what! Given I have been in a toxic relationship with my “best friend” for almost 2 years now, I can say with 100% certainity, therapy for toxic relationships is very important.
