So now that I’ve said yes to arranged marriage process and started looking for guys, I just feel that I’m probably missing out on something. I look around and see all these happy couple and just think to myself if I’d ever find such love in an arranged marriage set up. I just feel I’m unlucky that I didn’t find love. I just kept of restricting myself from loving people or getting into a relationship cause of parents and now that my cousins and friends are all marrying their boyfriends I feel I should’ve shown that courage and… I don’t know…
Hey! You have to meet someone some way, sometimes we find love through arrange marriages. Look at shahid and mira kapoor to say the least. You will find love. Not every love marriage is sucessfull.

Cheer up dude… all these happy couples that you see on social or IRL isn’t how it seems always. Remember looks can be deceiving. Alot of people are romantics but they still struggle to find their soulmate.
To be honest finding true love is not very difficult cuz your partner doesn’t really have to be perfect, they just need to be their best versions and most importantly if a person brings out your best version from you, that person is your real soulmate.
I’m not the one who will advocate arranged marriage or boo love marriage but every person is different, their mindset, their way of thinking, their ideologies. Its not easy to find love, speaking from personal experience of not finding true love despite multiple attempts, the right partner is not who you love or not even who loves the most. It’s that person who brings out your best from within you, it’s that person who inspires you to be a better human being.
This is the main reason arranged marriage concept had worked flawlessly in india in the past century.
My parents genuinely harness eachothers energy and positivity and strive to be a better human being and you might just be an example of this as well.

I think I’m just worried about whether or not I’d find the right person cause in arranged marriages you’re allowed to talk only for few days and expect you to learn everything about the other person and seeing all those people who are already in long term relationships and know everything (mostly) about each other scares me but yea may be I need to trust this process and believe in myself.
