If you know your place in her then you should not feel insecure. Be a matured best friend. Protect your best friend but never interfere in what he or she’ll do. Support and protect that’s your duties.

I used to have this feeling and had a lots of fights with my best friend… But now I don’t feel it. You can try this by not talking to them very frequently that will inturn make you think less about them… If you are their best friend, you do have a spl place in their hearts even though you talk less with them
