So I have been thinking about this feeling for a long time now but I can’t understand what and why I am feeling like this. There is a boy whom I know since we were kids and we went to the same school. I always loved his company and I think loved mine too. So as we were quite close people in school started to make rumours about us and teased me especially. I have no idea if he knew about this or not. I think he was never teased that much but I was teased a lot by my friends and during that time I really considered him as my friend so used get very irritated. But during this lockdown I realised I truly like him or say crush on him as I always think of him subconsciously. Now my problem is I am too scared to confess to him as I might get rejected since he has never given any hint from his side or rather understood any of my hints. This is the first time I have liked any boy so I am too afraid to lose our years of friendship cause it might get awkward after the confession. I really want to tell him honestly what I am feeling but I really don’t have the guts😩.

Well, I believe what you are feeling is more like a crush or infatuation rather than love.
I know that feeling of getting rejected or creating awkward situations.
My suggestion for you is if you are scared for a possible negative result for your action then try to use humor with a little fun vibe to your actions. This will avoid awkward situations.
