Sharing Our Innermost Thoughts

Recently, I have realized something. I’m a girl, living in India so obviously, there are restrictions on us. I’m 17 and as I’m growing older day by day, will be going to college next year, might be moving to a hostel as well.
I have started to realize that whatever my parents said, they were absolutely right, and most importantly it was for my own good. Even I used to fight with them for silly things like phones, friends, clothes, going out, and whatnot. They used to scold me a lot. But as I am moving closer day by day to being an adult and living on my own idk I just get this feeling that they truly want good for me. Many of you especially teenagers, all fight with your parents and I totally understand that. But guys they are the only people who actually care for you. Trust me your boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend doesn’t care for you as much as your parents do. You know, it actually takes an experience to realize that yes, my parents were right. I was the idiot who didn’t listen to them.
I would advise you all to talk to them, tell them about your friends, about your day. Treat them like your friends. Not like your ‘friend’ friend or else they won’t think twice to disown you lmao. You guys have no idea how hardships they go through just to make your lives comfortable.
Now I’m writing all this here because I really wanna thank my parents and tell them that I love them so much. But no, I’m not gonna say all these words on their face because it’ll be too much drama.
