Recently, I got a friend request from a stranger on discord. Being someone whom is open for dms, I accepted it. It started of normally, she told me about herself. She’s a closeted demigirl who’s questioning their sexuality. I said I accepted that, and I myself was part of the LGBTQ+ community too. She said their parents were homophobic. Extremely and openly homophobic. I asked if she felt unsafe at home, because she told me she was 10. She said she felt unsafe, so, I asked why she felt particularly unsafe.
She told me ‘down there’ hurt. I asked why, because Im genuinely worried. They said their father did it. I asked what he did. She said he stuck his private part up there, and there was a lot of glue looking stuff. I asked if she had her period yet, so I could see whether or not there was a possibility of her being y’know, pregnant. She said that they hadnt had their period in FOUR MONTHS. and that her father had been doing this for a long time. I asked if she had told their mom, she said she had. I asked why their mom didn’t do anything. They said their mom thought she was lying. I asked why she didn’t show her mom what their father had done. She said her mom didn’t care. They told me they wanted to run away because nobody cares about her. In reply, I said I cared for them. It broke my heart.
I told her she should call the police, it took some encouraging, but she did eventually. Their dad came into her room. Told the police it was a prank call. The police didn’t do anything. Then, she told me their father hit them and hurt ‘down there’ again. I asked her to call the Sexual Abuse hotline. Again, it took some encouraging, but they eventually called. The personnel came to her house, and asked about it. Parents lied.
She replied back to me, saying her father did it again and was very angry. I told her she should try and sleep.
Little did I know, she was showing signs of pregnancy. She told me about it the next morning, saying her parents called her pig again because her tummy was big, even though they were on a diet.
Her parents took her to the hospital today. I’m hoping she’s not pregnant. They’re only 10, and the abortion laws here in the U.S. I’m waiting for her to tell me the results, and what happened.
This is a lot for me to keep to myself. I didn’t explain in detail very well either. All of this happened yesterday and today. I’m hoping she’s ok. It’s a lot for someone to handle, and it’s extremely sickening. I’m trying to do research on how to help. If you have suggestions, please let me know.

Call the police yourself, that’s my only thought on how to help. My prayers here for her.

That’s really heart breaking 💔 she is suffering through so much oh god I hope doctors should act somewhat mature and do something…ig police call is something u can do…n u should give her advice to open up to doctor maybe they can do something on this…
holy sh*t I am so so sorry for you and your friend. I don’t know what to do but I’ll pray for you both. Try calling the police yourself, show them the texts you got. If she’s displaying signs of pregnancy and is 10 that is hard evidence that something is deeply wrong. If you can, encourage her to tell a friend’s parents, hopefully they can help her fight her parents, and see if she can stay with an aunt or grandparents or someone until it’s sorted out.
Have you heard anything further? This is very worrying.
I would try to gather information and also tell her to talk to someone at school as they can alert the right authorities to help. The school should help safeguard all minors. Also the app - try contacting them saying you have serious concerns for safety of a minor and need help/info on location?
