Why I compare my life with others subconsciously. I don't understand that why and then later on I get miserable and lose hope guys please tell me how should I stop this.

Someone constantly keeps criticising me for non-technical education background. They make me question my decision making ability. Are they manipulating or insulting?

Ordinary created history once they started to accept the reality with exceptions. 
Just accept urself for being who u r don't be harsh on urself remember u can't be perfect u can only try to be perfect...in order to improve ,upgrade urself with each passing day.Just never try to loose urself for others cause u r beautiful and precious like every other thing which God has created.
We all r blessed to be different and unique our flaws makes us even more beautiful,it adds meaning to ur life. Your biggest battle is with urself to be better than yesterday and to become even more better in the upcoming days.
 We just need to start complimenting us on a regular basis(seriously we need to normalise self praise) to boost our confidence in order to make others to believe in u as well , and for that to happen u need to believe in urself the most & I don't think so others matter much tho atleast not more than you. 
Just remember that you are precious and no one can ever replace u in ur life so stop trying to be like someone else cause being 'u' is something which suits you the most.
