PCOD people?? Anybody going through it or dealt with it? Kindly share what treatment you took? Ayurvedic or Allopathic? And does ayurveda work? My doc has given me aloe juice few other medicines…I’m skeptical if it’ll work? Anyone who knows anything please shed some light. Thank you

Hey PCOS is bad. I am taking a whole 1 year plan with nutritionist and gynaecologist. I have to follow a diet and workout for around 30 minutes. It’s now working out great for me.

Can u explain about it. You know I am doing panchkarma. It’s an ayurvedic treatment…it’s ongoing and I should get my periods in the next 15 days or so. Let’s see. Even i have diet n workout.

But what’s a one year plan? Sounds pretty intense

I subscribed this plan of Veera PCOS. Maybe Google it? I came across it on instagram. There are many platforms like this.

Not at all intense. I took the 12 month plan because I wanted to commit to it. So initially I met my care manager who is a deitician and nutritionist. Then I met the gynaecologist. They prescribed me many tests like testosterone level, prolactin, B12 and more. My B12 was way less. Then the treatment from gynaecologist was there for around a month and then they completely rely on diet. I get a 3 week diet plan and weekly meet with my nutritionist. It’s not a very hard diet. They understand your need and situation. For example I was in PG in a different city for the first month. She helped make a plan feasible there. Now I am at home. They take one habit like sugar cravings curbing, hydration, guylt health and slowly implement this in your diet. I lost 5 kgs in a month and skin and hair is better. I used to struggle alot with weight. I also get to eat good food like chilla, and soups etc which I enjoy. Not once I feel hungry because the portions are great. After struggling 7-8 years and trying everything this has worked for me. They say that since it’s a lifestyle disease they reverse PCOS by changing our habits and lifestyle. I tried these ayurvedic medicines too and even allopathy. This is turning out to be the most beneficial when it comes to results. I can actually see myself cured in few months.
