Okay so I'm a teen and I'm preparing for my jee. Till now i havent written any of my "exams" to prove myself or my worth, my parents think i dont study well, but as far as i believe in me and seeing the situations around my friends or whatever i feel I'm not that bad, like on a scale of 100% I'd say I'm between 80-90%. My dad is way too aggressive and rude, he sometimes beats me up for waking up in the morning and to study but i cant study all day like that.Like idk but i feel so much pressure and i doubt myself that I'd get into some good college or not.My dad is way too aggressive that sometimes I feel being suicidal

Hi! I live in India and I am preparing for PG entrance exam but sometimes I feel maybe I should get out of this country but the thought of leaving my parents behind scares me a bit. I love travelling and photography but to afford that I am working towards becoming a doctor. But I just wonder, given the situation in India about the mental health of doctors, salaries, working hours and the overall competition everywhere, is it worth it? 
Should I just give this up and just start travelling with the little money I have instead of giving my prime years to something so hectic that might change me physically (my hair white and all the backaches of being a doctor).. 

I see my colleagues in other professions starting living their life so early while I am still grinding in med school and giving exams all the time..should I stop and just let go? When you only live once?😐

3am Thoughts

I don't know why people love to poke their nose in other's business. My mom has a friend, she belongs from a very influential family. Her son got admission in a private law college. While I had to drop for my entrance exams. His mother asked my mom what I was pursuing and she replied, 'She is currently in her drop year'. To this she replied 'Why is she wasting her years. She should have applied to other course as medicine is not the only thing'. While I do agree medicine isn't the only thing but I do not want to pursue other course until I am satisfied with my efforts and I sincerely want to pursue this field.
Now, I do not belong from a family who is as influential him and neither are we wealthy like him (I belong from a middle class household). I do not have money to afford expensive institutes or private colleges. 99% of my friends went on to pursue engineering in private colleges despite their horrible scores in entrance exams. Rest one 1% went to Russia or Ukraine to pursue MBBS, and one who barely managed to clear NEET got into a private dental college (management quota). 
I have stopped talking to them. No, I wasn't jealous, but their career advices for me made my blood boil. Not even one of my friends managed to bag a government college seat (not only engineering but also medicine). I have only one friend who is preparing for NEET with me and is in the same situation.
I want to give my best shot and what's wrong with that. Almost everyone got what they due to their parent's money and some parents even pulled few strings to get their beloved son/daughter into private colleges.  I am doing what I can afford to do. 

Is it wrong for us middle class children to dream big and try to run after our dreams? Or should we give up on our dreams just because we lack money and influences?

So I just wanted to talk and get a random opinion about something which has been troubling me for some time wouldn't wanna share the details but here you go I'm a almost in college student had applied to some of the very best colleges got into the second best one and have to appear for a exam for the backup options so the problem is the second best option is kinda expensive but I guess my parents can afford that but also that it's far from my place that means I have to shift to a place nearby to it and all the other added expenses travelling rent electricity of that place water etc etc whereas the backup options are nearer to my place I can live with my parents and all my expenses would count as the normal ones but the college ranks no 15 and would not end up giving me good opportunities in the future 
I don't wanna be a burden on my parents but I wanna enjoy my life with no regrets as well , WHAT SHOULD I DO IM V CONFUSED AND THE THOUGHT IS HAUNTING ME NOW
