Okay why does everyone hate their birthdays? I feel like it’s the best day if we have really loving and geniune people around us who are happy that we exist. But for most of us it’s not the case, is that why we hate it or try to avoid it?

The answer is within your question only, “it’s the best day if we have loving and GENUINE people around us who are happy that we exist.” What if we don’t have any?

Ouch!!
Yes, the same genuine people you’re talking about don’t exist for me. I know how depressed I would be throughout the 365 days in my life and tf people don’t even bother to ask what’s happening with me and they try expecting shits of celebration that one day. Then, how can I celebrate myself happily with them?
I’m dead for all the 364 days and suddenly I become a celebrity for that one day. Though talking about the people whom I constantly meet, I’m not satisfied and it makes me more depressed to throw party for them.
In general, who don’t love birthdays and celebrations? Tho at the end, the past experiences and life situations matter which push towards not even wanting to celebrate the special day of own.
Being an introvert, I hate my birthdays because I don’t like the attention. Nothing else.

Some people may truly hate it because it reminds them they are alone. But I think most of us just don’t care to do anything like celebrate or uplift ourselves anymore, it’s the side effects of battling with depression. Haha, the whole world’s hurting, somethings feel pointless.
Luna @luna7
Sometimes it also reminds of how pointless time was, another year passed still no accomplishments whatsoever.
Uchiha @kha
Yea, that’s the worst feeling.
