I am in love with my friend. He’s 14 years elder to me and he’s getting married soon. He knows that I love him! He knows i wanted to get married to him. I have told him numerous time. But he take it as a joke everytime. He thinks I am still a kid and don’t understand anything. Dude I too understand everything. I have gone through a lot of shit in my life and i am so independent right now.
How do I stop talking to him. His birthday is coming soon. I just want to stop talking to him after that. I really don’t know if i can stop talking to me. It breaks me to see him getting married. Obviously if i am talking to him he will invite me and my family to his marriage. How could I show my face to my family. How could I explain them that I love him. Please suggest some good ideas to leave him after his birthday

It’s totally okay to love someone whom you feel connected to.
But since he never thought in that wwu towards you he never had that feelings for you and he’s also not wrong in that neither are you.
It’s just that the situation and timing is not right.
You don’t have to worry too much. If you truly want to leave him and stop talking to him then just wish him birthday plain and simple no big messages no big surprises. Nothing extraordinary. Just a simple plain text.
And after that block him from everywhere. All social media and all other platforms.
Since you guys are such a good friend whether you talk to him after his birthday or not he will surely invite you and your family to his wedding.
And if you are connected to him through social media then you’ll have to see his wedding photos and celebrations and you feel much worse.
So to protect your peace ig after his birthday you should try and block him.
