I'm not native in English and I just learned the phrase today.. so..
How will you respond when someone said to you "see you on the other side"? I just googled the meaning and apparently it's like saying goodbye?

What if it's online? Like through a chat... so we don't know what kind of expression they made .-.

It will have different meanings with different tones, like if someone says it with sad smile or with somewhat lost expression it might mean they are saying goodbye.

Not all goodbyes are marked by farewells. There are goodbyes, the silent ones, the ones you never see coming. The goodbyes you see faintly in hindsight and wonder about the words you would have said one last time but you couldn't. The goodbyes you fail to see when it matters most. The goodbyes that hurt.

I have to leave for my studies and It’s hard for me to be around people and my university will only allows sharing rooms and for first year it is compulsory to stay in hostel. Idk how I’ll deal with hostel mates and I’m stressing over it. How was your experience if you ever experienced with sharing rooms at hostel?
