Then there is a way to contact him. Why don’t you ask them to ask him, to contact you and if he refuses. He can fuck himself and you should move the Fk on. Do whatever it takes u to move on but don’t get into a relationship right away. It’ll give u no time to heal and understand your needs and why did you put up with such a person.

If he has done this previously then it’ll be a different approach and if it’s the first time maybe wait a week or so and then go on a date or better yet, help yourself grieve and move on. Moving on doesn’t have to mean dating another. You can just heal and figure out what you actually want in a relationship first. Or just go on couple of dates if that helps you calm down your anxieties and abandonment issues.
But if you think there could be a problem and he’s not responding or something because he’s having a difficult time himself then you know better. If you think this person deserves your empathy and understanding and he’s given you the same before so waiting for a month also can be the case.
