Just went for my first therapy session and absolutely hated it. I donโt know how to describe it, but crying to a complete stranger and having her analyse my situation, I felt absolutely hopeless.
You need to change your perspective towards therapy session. You go to therapy session because the Stanger just doesnโt know you so she canโt really judge you in anyway and probably will give you unbiased opinion towards the inputs that you have provided to her. If you keep having this thought in kind that this therapy session is not working then itโs better to change the therapist to someone who you are more comfortable to share problems with. ๐
Hey! I understand how overwhelmed you might feel right now but I think it was a good thing that you let out your emotions! But I also think should give some more time to therapy and just because the first session was not good does not mean the others will not be. Keep an open mind and Give it time.
Also, I want you to know that heartbreaks have happened with all of us and you are not alone! We all have gone through it and trust me you wil come out stronger!
I know the feeling but with time you will become closer and closer with your therapist. I feel hopeless a lot of the time too so youโre not alone. Just remember that itโs okay to cry.
