Sharing Our Innermost Thoughts

Just wanted to get some thoughts off my chest
I personally feel that I am an amazing person who goes out of her way to help people and I help my family so much especially in the lockdown, I literally do all the household chores and I know it for a fact
But my mother is always badmouthing me
Saying that I don’t do any work properly, I don’t cook properly, I don’t clean properly, I am a pathetic person to help around. I spend literally all my day helping them, I barely even do “Netflix and chill” but even then I am the one who always ends up hearing, everyone puts their shit on me.
I don’t know if this a fairly common phenomenon in houses, but I know my friends dont even do half the work I do to help around at home. And also this fact that in front of my father, my mother always shows me as this horrible person who does not help her even one bit, and he always believes her. I just feel very very sad, and my friends tell me to not let it get to me, but it hurts me so so so much. I try to not get in anyone’s way but it’s like walking on eggshells, even the way I breathe is wrong according to them. They keep telling me my atitude is very bad, and I should be a more composed person, more devoted to their service, but I am too stubborn and rude to their liking. It s just really getting to me
And I know the most obvious way to get out this situation is to go away, but then I always am so much emotionally manipulated by them, I have lost all respect for myself. They even make comments on how I look and that I look very ugly and fat, it is has really put my self confidence below even the ground level.
