Just had a bad fight with my Dad,i told him some hurtful stuffs and so did he,So men who are soon to be fathers,please don’t be absent in your children’s lives,you maybe able to give them everything physically and financially ,but if you’re not there emotionally,that shit follows us for the rest of our lives.I hate my Dad so much but i also love him so much it’s driving me fucking crazy
I know what you are feeling sweetheart. It was hard for me too. But it’s not like your dad doesn’t love you. No one is perfect. Atleast they are trying. Just open up. Sit and talk with him. Or maybe go out for a walk. Talk about the stuffs that’s bothering you. That’ll really help. Love you ❤️
U know, I too face the same problems. My father is never emotionally present for me. He thinks that he works so hard for us and that’s enough for showing us that he loves us. But that is not true. I sometimes yearn for him. We never talk. Only important things are discussed and that too very hastily. He never asks how my days are going or what I want to become. He sometimes do something which makes me think that he is a great dad but the very nect day,he does something opposite. All this lack of emotional attachment has made me numb towards him. I don’t hate him but I don’t also love him in that way. I just know that if I have any work , I can ask him and he will do whenever he wants , but nothing more.

I do have the same problem with my dad as he doesn’t know how to show his feelings and emotions. It’s okay try sitting down and have a chat with him one on one. Try explaining yourself instead of fighting. I know it is going to be hard but you cannot change what Is done in the past but you can change what your future is gonna be
