It’s a shame when your racing thoughts keep you up till 4am. Just to wake up at 8 and start crying again. My life is not objectively bad by any means. I have a supportive family, direction in life, and good friends, but I can’t help but feeling like a husk of a the person I thought I could be. I feel empty and even though I have friends I don’t feel comfortable talking to them about pain. I can’t keep bottling everything up and pretending like it’s okay, just to be alone for one moment and break down.
