Why age is a factor in friendship?
If you have problem with them, just block them.
People are cynical, stop talking it seriously.
Friendship is not everyone’s cup of tea that why they want relationship. If you aren’t ok, just say that to them. If not taken seriously just report or block them.
People already know creeps exists everywhere, your whining won’t solve your problem. Look for solutions instead of pretending fallen victim of their bad deeds.
And i alredy know so many will come at me in the comments. To all those scums, you are no less than narcissist who play hero for your own vanity.

I am friends with both males and females, age difference ranging from 6-12 years.
It’s all about what do you have to offer, do your interests match, do your values having few things common.
It also depends on your social adaptability.
Reality isn’t what we define by ourselves. It is an collection of what knowledge you have been given or learnt for years, by elders around you, some you learn by your own reasoning and some by the painful experience which sometimes crushes your old beliefs if not then you remain adamant to not give up your old ones.
In this world some things are objective and some are subjective.
Well, attraction between opposite gender is truth but if you put little reason into “NOT” you might see the other side.
Just open yourself from old beliefs, you will begin to see.
