Yes I have enough knowledge about it. Tell me🌸
Actually I from the past 3 months have been dealing with a lot of career stress and anxiety. And I resorted to junk food to control it.
Recently in march I got loose motions. I thought it was normal loose motions so I first stopped junk and treated it with home remedies but it didn’t stop so I went to the doctor but it it the motions are yet not resorting to what it was before.
My doctor is predicting it to be IBS.
I have also noticed that mostly it happens when I’m stressed.
Is this Incurable and will I have to give up even chicken or eggs. I have lost a lot of weight and muscle and I want to regain it.
I fear that this might hinder my appearance and I won’t be able to gain back the physique I once had.
Please help
Also I read alot about this on the internet.
I fear IBS will affect my professional work life.
I’m a student 22 yr old preparing for my MBA entrance exams and there is alot of stressfull studies.
I fear that in future when I get a Job and on instance if I have to deliver a presentation or a critical meeting I may have IBS attacks.
Also I love travelling. I fear I may no longer be able to travel because of the IBS.
I’m feeling very anxious and I cannot focus on my work and studies

First you need to keep your mind healthy. Try to reduce your stress levels. IBS has a psychological factor also behind it. So , try to focus your mind on things that make you happy, spend time with family and friends. Don’t stress out.
Also, follow a balanced and healthy diet. Don’t stop chicken or meat, protein is needed. Have more fruits, fibre rich food, veggies etc.
Try to avoid dairy , junk, fried stuff.
It won’t affect your professional career. It will be fine with time. Don’t worry about it.
Thank you so much Ma’am!!
Also Ma’am, While I’m studying there will be some amount of stress. Will this kind of study stress also affect IBS?
Sagarika @doctorsmile
Usually it is manageable with proper diet and stress reduction. You needn’t take life long medicines.

I also had this problem during exams but is was manageable. With time, it became under control. Just don’t worry.

You can eat occasionally. I too eat almost weekly. It’s not a problem. It’s not a serious disease. Don’t worry so much. You’ll be fine
Thank you so much Doctor!! i was really tensed these past 2 days and I was praying that I get to speak to someone either who has IBS or either a Doctor. But I got a person who experienced both. Thank you!
