Im struggling today. As a child I went through sexual abuse. I’m almost 20 now and all of my relationships fail due to severe anxiety stemmed from that abuse. People love to say they like crazy girls but they don’t mean it. As someone who actually has sever mental illnesses it’s so frustrating. I keep thinking that one day I’ll just get over what happened but it had caused so many problems in my life and it just won’t stop. I’m so tired of feeling this way.
Hey I understand…I have been through same…most of my life till now was spent being scared cuz of what happened…I was scared to be in any relationship but still had a few friends…but the anxiety this gave to me made me hurt them n trust me I can’t forgive myself for it…this put me in so many problems I don’t know if I did overcome or not…I know this is mentally tiring…trust me it has to pass…and you are so strong and amazing to keep fighting through this…yes the anxiety is still there…I m still scared but I m happy…my goal right now is to make those happy who care for me and love me …it helped…yes the relationships fail but they can be formed too… you are tired…take rest… rethink your life …do something you love and be happy…take care

I’m so sorry to hear that u went through something like that. It’s not a must that you have to be in a relationship, the right one will always show up at right time. If u think ur anxious about a relationship then don’t pick one, stay single for a while, explore life, travel, learn new hobbies, meet new people.
Adopt a pet, listen to music, workout. Keep your mind occupied it surely helps.
