I’m frustrated and bored from my life. I am a college student and i have huge amount of work piled up and I don’t want to do it . I woke at 12-1 pm and sleep at 4-5 am probably watching any Netflix series . I stay in my room whole day and just go out of my room for eating , bathing and brushing . While i spent most of the time on my chair and book and assignments opened on my desk. To get my energy back i tried to do something else like reading a book , painting, eating , watching youtube , lying on the cold floor, yoga but nothing worked out for me . My assignment submission have come now and I don’t what am gonna do . I was a topper in previous sem and in this sem i just don’t know what’s wrong with me. Plz can anyone help me out , I’m really frustrated.

Right now completing assignments ASAP should be d first concern. So how about doing it with someone, like sitting in a group, or lets say just have someone on call while u work.

U need to go out of ur room ur house u need some fresh air…u need to try activities Thts not just ur room our house bound…u need to speak to ur friends family…it’s too early to be bored of life it’s just a phase which will pass…please start a routine sleep early get ho early join a gym or dance class…

But i have pressure of assignment submission how will i be able to go out or enjoy gym or dancing?

well i am sure u do eat and drink…u also mentioned that you watch youtube and Netflix you also mentioned that you paint , write and do yoga well i was just trying to say instead of trying again the same things may be try different things which i suggested i understand you have study pressure but taking out half n hour or an hour from 24 hrs shouldnt be that hard specially if you have time to watch netflix and youtube

I hear you friend. My life is literally the same, college life is ending soon, the sleep schedule is a complete mess, I procrastinate so much on my work and just continuously try to escape everything by watching Netflix shows. The whole day is spent in my room and my frustration knows no bounds.

Anyway the only thing that I’ve noticed is that one has to just start and try and try to take it easy and not psyche yourself out. take short breaks and you will meet your deadline somehow. As far as the other stuff I don’t know myself, most days are not that great for me but it’s the few good days that make it all worth it. It’s not all bad and I think that’s important to remember, we will overcome this when things are more normal.

Why don’t you try doing your work in a different place other than your room? It can be frustrating having to be in your room all day but not being able to go outside because you’ve got so much work to do. Try somewhere you think would be good for working but also different from what you’re use to, to come out of your comfort zone and experience new things. You might even find a lot of new interesting people on your way.
