If you slap your husband/wife while having an argument and genuinely begs for forgiveness and promises not to repeat the same ever in life and the same day ur husband/wife (who was slapped) takes revenge by slapping you then would you be guilty of hitting him/her though u begged for forgiveness and promised never to repeat the same??
PS I still feel very bad for hitting but should I be guilty considering revenge was taken by hitting me?
Once was last and I never ever did it again and I made sure my promise was intact.

I suggest you both talk things out. getting angry will never help you to clear the situation. if you’re not happy in this marriage, then I suggest you walk out. but if you love him/her you both should talk it out. In my opinion you both were wrong and sometimes its okay to forget and forgive. But make sure you never raise a hand at him/her again
I did try to talk it out but it’s of no use… Physical abuse has not stopped
