if someone shares there problems and u reply with same or ive been there, believe me its the worst reply you can ever give 

when someone shares smth with others they want them to listen instead of complaining about their own problems it gives a thought thay they are already drowning so lets not share with them and this is how they stop sharing which is not good 

yeah its a different thing and its acceptable 

May be for some reasons
But not meant for everyone!

but we can use that 
' I've been through the same and it's okay ' types situations to help them feel ease and tell them that everything's gonna be okay soon
