I want my boyfriend to post a picture of us on Instagram, but I don’t want him to feel like I’m making him. He hasn’t been very active on it but he has posted me on his story a few times, and whenever I mention it to him and he always just says we will and blows it off for another time. I don’t know why I want him to post us so bad but the longer it goes on the more it makes me wonder why he won’t. What do I do? 😅
Is your relationship not public, if so then it might be your insecurities about your relationship, by asking him to post about you, you are asking him indirectly to validate your relationship on social media…its not a big deal to do if he loves you, if everytime you have to ask him to post instead of him doing it on his own, then maybe you both are not on the same wavelenin the relationship…give it sometime maybe he will get there…
If he’s not very active on social media then it’s totally fine posting your pics once in a while. But if you feel that he’s posting pics with others and active on social media still hesitant to post your pics, talk to him, explain your side and expectations in relationship. Understand what he wants from you, if you both understand and ready to adjust with each other then good. Or else rethink about everything once because burdening others with expectations will only ruin relationship.
