I told my mom I practice witchcraft and she threatened to go through my stuff and throw stuff away. I want to explain to her that witchcraft isn’t “devilish” and all, but I know it’ll lead to me getting yelled at for an unrelated thing. I don’t understand why I can’t express myself. I feel like I need to be secretive about my hobbies and beliefs.

Many people have different definitions, but I see it as being one with nature, and just connecting yourself to your natural surroundings!

It’s been long associated with sacrifices, murder, and the christian devil. It’s very forbidden in Christianity, and is basically a free one way ticket to hell.
My goodness this is what wikipedia says :
Witchcraft traditionally means the use of magic or supernatural powers to harm others. [sorry but u should not harm someone as a hobby i guess] just an opinion rest is your decision

Harming others is a huge no in witchcraft! It’s like committing a crime and getting punished for them, but on a spiritual level-
I think you should weigh that devilish opinions with your defination of it and that will probably give you the answer
That’s so wrong, even though I don’t prefer being around it or anyone who practices it.
Firstly I m not saying he is sick I m saying he should see atleast it’s really not common
