I started university this year and have a friend trio (including me) 2 of them are so close. they stay up late together go into each others rooms (3 of us live in the same dorm) they text call each other there’s never a message from them on my phone unless it’s to ask something. I don’t like either of them very much but I’m feeling really lonely. I’m in a new city my only other friend is at another city. I always had friend problems all my life I’m so tired of being the 2. option. I don’t want to be a backup friend. I want a best friend so bad. am I really a boring person that I’m no ones first option? probably. should I’ve got used to being alone by now? I don’t know. one of them called me to ask something and I could hear the others voice at back laughing. I don’t have anyone. not my family not a lover not a friend. how long will it keep going
Heyy calm down. Its not like that you are a boring person or something, if that were the case you wouldn’t have the friend which is in another city. The things is maybe your friends are not good friends. Maybe you need to make some new friends. You are at a new place everything’s new, no past no nothing, you can start fresh. Don’t be dependent on them. Find some new friends, try to come out of your comfort zone, start conversation with the person whom you feel with. Don’t ever doubt yourself again.
