I started dating a popular guy from our college and told my best friend about it after a month of dating bcos I really don’t want a lot of people to know… My friend’s behaviour towards me has suddenly changed and she kind of slut shames me indirectly, like I don’t think YOU can be in a relationship, or like gosh there are so many guys you talk to, I get confused when you tell me about them.

Most probably yess coz hookups and relationship are total different and i think as you’ve mentioned that is a popular guy she might hav a crush on him too and u dating created a kind of jealousy in her mind

the point is are you happy in ur relationship, in what you do? if yes what ur friend says doesn’t matter. everyone has opinions good or bad. so who cares. if u sit to care abt everyone’s opinion u will die a listener. so just live ur life. and if someone is continuing to being mean to you just ignore what they are saying.

it doesn’t matter if she is ur best friend. she is allowed to hv opinions. it’s you how you will perceive it. and Noone can tell her what to do. just like Noone can tell u what to do. it’s ur decision if u will be sad by hearing what she says or u will just ignore.
