if your past relationship with them was abusive or toxic then yes that would be the best thing to do. You could try writing a letter that you won't send to them, expressing everything that you still feel. It could help empty your head and help the moving on process


no it's not, you must still be feeling attached to them and moving on is going to take a while.

I miss my ex. But i was the one who ended it. What should i do?

I never really had friends, I had two important people. One left and she was my best friend. And there was this boy who was In love with me since we were in 5. But I never really felt anything for him. Like never. And it's been 7 years and we are really close friends. And I have made it very clear about my intentions. We are share everything with eachother. He's special for me. But recently he just stopped talking out of no where. And when I reacted to that he was like I was in my own world and I still texted him. But talked as if I'm forcing this conversation. So I did said him to go and study and be in his World. Like a normal person should do. But then  he's like if you didn't wanted to talk why did you texted. Daphuck ? And it was all blamed on me. I miss him but he uses such language which hurts. 

Conflict

I'm in a situation where I'm separating from my partner of 7 years. We have multiple children together and he has raised my oldest every 7 years. Without getting into too much detail we both definitely done wrong but I was the first to strike. However the last three and a half years it's just been tumultuous and I'm always in the wrong. Recently I had someone close to me pass away and my whole world shattered and I definitely reacted negatively towards my partner and then after that I just thought there was no help. He asked me to take a large house which I passed but after that point in a relationship it was over. The lie detector instructor told me that this test won't do nothing because continue to blame me and he just needs help so when I asked him to get help he refused to get any therapy. Then after that every part of our relationship was attacked to the point where we can't even be friends and we're stuck in the same house together until the lease is up I'm just miserable heartbroken angry sad desperate all at the same time I try to make right with him at the end and he went back to accusing me of crazy things harassing me it's treating me like I was nothing. I'm not saying I haven't been bad to him but these last 6 months he is definitely made it and things I've done have made it work I just know my heart we're done and can't move forward from this I'll never change my kids will never see us together it's just really hard.

Is it normal to talk with guy who has intention to date u but when u know it won't work out in future. I have one rule don't waste ur or others time if u don't have intention of marriage.
Few days ago, I received text from some nice guy, we texted for a day only. It felt good, but then as I am overthinker, I thought too far abt if that boy n I get into relationship n how things will turn out. As that boy lives far from where I am staying currently. So I told I don't want to continue chatting with the intention of being together, we can be friends.
I don't know if I did anything wrong here, in future I would not like to leave the city where I have grown, I want my people near me. That guy mentioned he will keep friendship, but he has not initiated any conversation after that.
My friend told me that I have unnecessary told that thing, which lead to no response from other person. She told me to talk to person for 1-2 months.. it will take nothing from u.
But as long as I talk to any person n invest my feelings in them I start to feel for them. May be that person will not feel the same way then. n in online chatting how can we believe in other person. 

Confusion

 I just needed someone to talk to but basically I was talking to this guy sorta for abt 3 months and abt 3 days ago I was texting him as I normally do and I told him that I couldn’t hang with him because I have sorta strict parents he said it was fine he was going through something but wouldn’t tell me so I just told him that I think he should have time to himself but I worry abt the having strict parents changed everything idk

Overthinking

I was in class 8th when I fell for a guy who is 2 years older than me. I took an initiative to talk. I was childish enough to send him friend request from my father's social media account, we started talking normally and at the end of class 8th I made my own account and we used to talk everytime. Things became more clearer between us, we got close. We started talking in the school. But things got changed when one of his friends confessed his feelings to me and I being excited idiot accepted his confession even though I liked his friend at first place. We started dating, but when I realised that whatever I'm doing is toxic then I confessed everything to him and we broke up. His feelings for me were not sincere at all. He told me that it was an attraction that build up when my crush used to talk about me with them. Around that time I was in class 9th and they were in class 12th. The guy I like stopped talking to me and things got more awkward, but when I wanted to talk to him to sort out everything, he transferred to another state. He blocked me from everywhere. After 10th I went to another city and in class 12th I came to know that the guy my best friend is dating is best friends with the guy I like since we all were from the same school. Now I'm in 1st year, whenever we meet he's always there. My best friend hugs him in front of me. Says, if "I didn't had his best friend as my boyfriend I would've dated him instead." My crush says in reply "I would love to date you". He texted me on my birthday and I finally confessed my feelings to him and I didn't get any kind of surprised expression from him and he wasn't shocked. He just said that he liked that I confessed him and it was 8 months ago.He's still single waiting for love of his life and I'm here waiting for him. 
I'm confused, very confused. I still want him, whatever I did in my past out of my so called childish behaviour is hindering everything now. I don't even have courage to talk about this to him and the way my best friend acts towards him is not helping either
