I really really need to vent
I have a friend and she just gets on my nerves. But we’re part of a bigger group so I can’t just stop being friends with her. She has a weird obsession with holding my hand, or putting her arm around my shoulders. I need space. Physically and emotionally. We became friends at the start of the team when lectures were started offline and the rest of the group was formed later so now I somehow am her closest friend in the group. But I don’t know how long I can lie and pretend that her behaviour is okay. She honestly can be so rude to people without knowing it, she has no clue about personal space, she took my phone and started reading my messages, inquiring about who was whom. She does this thing where she’ll say something totally inconsiderate without batting an eye and when people point it out they’ll get an entire argument about, “tHis iS jUsT whO i aM yOu guYs”

May be she thinks it looks cute when she is being like that or she can be close to everyone if she does that but she is not realising how uncomfortable it makes others! If you don’t like being touched just tell her, I also feel it annoying if someone tries to take or snatch my phone!
I mean close one’s will take it when they are just bored they would just check our recent pictures or videos but wantedly opening chat with other people is definitely not healthy not even with partners!
Tell her how you feel if she argues that “That is how she is” tell her one answer “you can yourself but without disturbing others personal space” bas baat khatam
I agree. But i feel like if i say something, it’ll turn into a huge fight and I am the one who has a problem with HER. Everyone else seems fine and what if i lose all my friends over her? I need friends. If she does think her behaviour is cute, she’s messed up. How is being rude cute 😭.
