I just feel so unsure of myself in this new place i ve been working at. Ofcourse being a newbie, people dont include you in “'inside informations” which is just gossip btw so that it makes this god awful job bearable. I sometimes (often) fear that thats how people always have and always will see me- a nervous wreck with no sure footing in her.
It makes me so vulnerable to be dismissed and tbh this feeling, not sure how to explain this but it takes form of a lot of other things too, triggers so many triggers. I just feel like a lost teenager in a maze of adults that are sooo far out of reach with themselves and the fact that there is a difference in being a carefree young adult and working young adult. You legitimately stop being in touch with yourself and it scares me so much.
You can still be a carefree young adult and still smash your goals as a working young adult. You need to be carefree in resepct to what other people are saying and doing (example- the gossip) because it really doesn’t matter to be a part of those conversations anyway. And, you need to be diligent and hardworking as a working young adult. So yes, you can still be both. Don’t let the pressure of being a working woman get to you! :)

Every new place takes a lot of time getting used to. Think of your first day of college. The day after the first fight you had at school with someone, it takes a lot for you to be in the inner circle. Just cash in the cheques for now and don’t overthink it. As someone who stares at walls all day, everything is dull, at least you’re getting paid

Every new place takes a lot of time in getting used to it’s environment. It’s like a first day of school or college. But don’t panic. Just focus on your work to achieve more. All the best.
