I have never lived alone away from home. And this new roommate is very annoying and intolerable. She is so mean and hypocrite. Bitching about her friend to me and talks so sweet to her, spends time with her. And me being a silent person, just keep watching her actions. It’s so rough to live with her. She is an attention seeker and an extrovert. I suffer from depression and it’s not easy for me to deal with people. How do you introvert people survive with such people… Pls suggest
Just ignore and focus on your things and your daily schedule.

U cant change that person u have to accept the fact that she isnt gonna change and all u can do is not let her affect u in any way ,just pretend that u r listening while she bitches about anyone and nod ur head without giving any attention whatsoever

Been there in this situation and it’s very irritating.
Try this hack and it worked for me perfectly. Just do a fake call to one of your friend and create a entire conversation about a character like that is very irritating and this that all.
Slowly they will start recognise that silently you are attacking here only.
This worked for me but not sure for you. Just give it a shot if it works then your life in that room will be chill.
Otherwise also it’s very common to come across persons like this so just casually ignore them plugging in earphones which is also signal that you are not interested.
