I have a question; is it normal for parents to hit their children?
Today I was arguing with my younger sister. She had taken a flashlight, and continuously shined it in my eyes, even after I asked her to stop, she still continued. So I got up and tried to take the flashlight away from her, so she screamed and hit me (Which I know, is my mistake.) which my mother saw. Afterwards, my parents yelled at me for not thinking before I acted, and then slapped me on the face. I noticed that my younger sister never got scolded for what happened either.
No I don’t think so,especially If it aint ur fault.no it’s not normal to hit their kids.

The occasional slap for teens/adults or light smack/spank for little kids is normal, but anything hard or over something not important is just wrong.
