Its not a competition nor anyone have to sacrifice. Crush stands for when you adore someone. So you both can adore the same person (who knows maybe other people are having crush on your crush. No need to backout or feel wrong. Ya if you have a good bonding with your cousin, talk about it.
Tough situation. Talk it out with the cousin. Or if you feel that will ruin things then maybe move on from that person?
I have had friends being in similar situations and all they say is that cousins are forever and crushes are not.
