I have a bestfrnd with whom I share evrythng. We were clsmates in school but at that tym we didn’t know much abt each othr and even we didn’t talk much. Bt then we went to the same college for BTech and there we got to know eachothr n infact we were best of the bestest frnds. He comes to my house we hangout and my parents know him very well n infact my parents trust him very well sometimes more than me.they treat him lyk their own son.
So even I wanted the same warmth and closeness with his parents bt he never introduced me to them. Infact I guess they dnt even know that he comes to my house or that he knows my parents and he is pretty close with them n me. It’s jst that when ever I ask him abt why he doesn’t take me to his house or why doesn’t he introduce me to his mom he jst skips the topic.
My parents ask me evrytym whether I talk to his parents or do they treat me lyk my parents treat him and I lie evrytym which I feel bad about.
What to doooo.
Y is he so scared to tell it to their parents???
Also he confessed that he is in love wid me bt I never replied to that topic coz I didn’t wanna ruin our frndshp n the trust my parents had in him bcoz my parents are very typical n totally against love marriage. He says that he wants to marry me n all.
My prob is even if I want to accept his proposal one thng stops me frm doing that apart my parents. If he is not ready to introduce me to their parents as a friend thn how can he tell them that he wants to marry me in future…is he serious abt his feelings ???
There may be multiple reasons behind his deed…
As i can guess he might be insecure about his family condition …
He might be insecure that you might judge …
Or
He knows his family very well and knows that they aren’t the same as your family and might take you wrong or might be not the modern type regarding friendships and may have put restrictions on female friendship issue…
Talk to him about that with assurance of understanding him and not forcing him to make him meet thier parents to you…

He is not at all insecure abt his family or their condition. May b they might not b open minded. I agree. But see if wants to marry me at least thn he needs to say ryt. Iam nt sure if he can say it at that tym. Also if his parents are not open minded thn how is gonna make them accpt our marriage thng if I say yes. Wat if I say yes n we get into a relationship and thn all of a sudden one fine day if he says that ki his parents are not open minded and all. What should I do???
