I had given an interview they had selected me on the first round and had told me they will let me know when to come for the second round. But they haven’t yet called. So if i call them now will i look desperate and eager for this job? Or should i refrain from calling and wait for them to call. And is it unprofessional for a company to not call after saying the would? If any HRs are here please shed some light on my troubles.
It’s your decision to call them or not.
You can keep a few things in mind, if they don’t like your profile and they aren’t getting back then they are not worth giving a shot, in the other hand if they liked your profile, they will get back to you because they themselves are in a need for someone to join them.
They liked my profile, i had given an interview, they even selected me for a second round and told me they will call me 2-3 days fir second round. So now im very confused
Try getting an update from the HR. You don’t look desperate you’re just asking for an update as to what’s the status.
