Once again I'm hurt... should I stay away from her.

So I need help getting me out of this rut. Here’s my story, My wife and I are divorcing we been unhappy for a long time now. So I started looking for someone who could give me a emotional connection that I was missing. I ended up failing in love with a woman I worked with she always was going through a rough patch in her life. I felt like we met at the right time. Anyways, but it turns out she was super needy, clingy and just totally didn’t trust me for some odd reason. Definitely had some insecurities. She was suffering from PTSD she had a bad encounter with a man. Our relationship was very toxic at the end. she ended up leaving me for another man. Completely caught me off guard. I wanted it to end but at the same time I missed our conversation, we had a routine together. I just miss her presence. Idk. I just feel out of place. I hope I can get through this. Maybe it was blessing, maybe I dodged a bullet here. Thoughts..
