I feel so pissed off. I recently started looking for a job in Marketing, and I applied in a few different places. A couple days ago, I got a call back from one of the companies and they also offered me another position which I can choose between. The thing is after listnening to the descriptions and doing some research, I don’t think they’ll help me develop, plus I read some bad opinions online about the management. I didn’t give a definitive answer but I said I’ll think about it. I have no experience in this line of work and I want to learn. I don’t expect to get paid a lot right away, I’m perfectly fine to start from scratch. I shared this with my mom, and at first she told me it’s my decision and if I feel something’s off it’s perfectly fine to for me to pass up, but after listening to impressions from a family member who works in a different firm in the same building, she all of a sudden decided that the odds of me getting an offer from someone else are very low and I should take this job at any cost. This always happens when I’m job hunting and deciding to share with my parents. They try to give me advice, but ultimately they are forcing their opinions on me and we always fight. I am 24 fucking years old, and have worked other jobs in the past. And this time, the job I’ll find will help me shape my life and my future. I don’t want to start something just because. If that was my goal, I would go work on a construction site.

If you think that you can’t develope yourself in the job which they’re offering then you shouldn’t do it because you may get the job but you’ll be stuck there.
And also it’s right that getting a job in the field you want to work is hard but that doesn’t mean you should start any other job right?
