I feel like all my problems would be gone if i was pretty or just believed i was. I compare myself to everyone, its like jealousy is my worst enemy. Especially with my best friend, I’ve talked about it a lot but its just hard to look past it. Shes got a boyfriend in school and since their a couple they get loads of attention, she always has people swarming around her and her bf but sometimes it means im just there alone. i haven’t got other friends so i kinda just stick with her, makes me look so clingy and like such a third wheel but its either that or just cry in the bathroom. Sometimes i just cant third wheel anymore and do go cry in the bathroom, i find it comforting i guess. Its just hard, shes popular, pretty, taken and im like everything else you know. Today we were talking about weeknd plans and i felt like she was teasing me because she had plans and i didn’t but j know she wasn’t. She just has friends and i don’t. My life is like a rollercoaster sometimes im so happy with life and sometimes i just hate it. Truly, comparison is killing me.

You shouldn’t compare yourself with anyone else even if you’re so close everyone was made unique .
U may not consider yourself pretty on the outside and that’s why you’re single but it not true, trust me true love does not consider external appearance and there’s someone out there who is looking For u .
Try looking for other friends and interact to show how amazing u can be , once u start hanging out with others even your bestfriend will feel guilt for not considering your friendship first. Theres always a reward within every tear drop 😉

Sometimes the greatest person lies within you.the entire hangout culture -" oh, J am going to Vegas with my gf!"…is a showoff. To a generation of people that learnt to see happiness in their Instagram likes, and their dazzling parties- I sit around and think to where the peace flew. Imma generation of person who finds meaning and depth in life.
A conversation that hits you inside, is worth of time. I often look at the world around me, and see that if I ever decide to step into this and live a dazzling Instagram life…in few days…wil I loose interest, cos my self will look for meaning.
Maybe that’s the case with you. You understand what a fake happiness means. Tk cr… Wait, be alone but meet good friends…

omfg i could say the same thing. i remember someone telling me “you start getting used to doing things alone”. ig that sort of helped me, maybe try it and at some point youll always meet someone new along the way. youll put that stuff behind u

i feel the same way about myself. my best friend has always been prettier than me and i never thought too much about it until she got everyone’s attention and i wasn’t noticed by anyone. it just takes a toll on my mental health seeing her in a perfect relationship ship with tons of friends when i’ve never been in a relationship and she’s one of my only 2 friends.

I relate to this so much… down to every last detail. Ive never been in a relationship either but my best friend has been in a lot and is in a happy one right now. Shes one of my only friends and it just hurts cuz im so close to her but she just gets all the attention and has everything i want… im here if you wanna talk:)
