Hey there batzx!

Can completely understand the lack of motivation right now, it has affected us all.

I can tell you what personally worked for me and helped me get at least SOME work done!!!

So, first and foremost, establishing a routine. I know you would’ve seen this, read about it, at a lot of places, but it actually works. What they don’t tell you, however, is how to go about getting into a routine. Now, for most of us, staying up till the early hours of the morning is part of our routine, so to speak. So, try to sit down to study at night and that way, you will automatically feel like sleeping earlier than you usually do (lol) and be able to get up earlier too, as a result.

Now, since IELTS is an English based exam, you can watch certain video clips on it to practice your English, instead of having to practice the written part.

That was, you’ll get into the rhythm of studying just a little bit in a day, and then be able to escalate from there.

You can start with small goals, i.e. studying for say 40 minutes today, then 1h 15 minutes tomorrow, and then so and so forth.

The task of studying SO much in one go is what makes it daunting for most of us, and therefore we end up avoiding it completely.

This is how I got into a routine, which is not my productive best but is better than what I was doing before, i.e. nothing. But remember, these ARE difficult times for sure, and it is hard to cope with things, so don’t be too hard on yourself, just take it little by little.

I think it will work this time as you said, I will make a routine and start slow
And once again thank you for your time πŸ‘πŸ»

Hope it does!
You can even try making an accountability partner if you like, i.e. somebody else you can tell about your progress to, so that it gives you a reason to work.
Always happy to help :)
