I’m taken aback by the sheer amount of posts by teenagers going through depression and anxiety at their age! Not undermining anyone’s suffering but what had the world come to?

Growing Up

Today was a good day all in all. Apart from my usual routine , today when I went out for a walk at night to feed my street doggos , this girl came to me and told me that she has been seeing me since months feeding the doggos. She is also interested in doing the same but doesn't get time often due to the busy work schedule. She took my number and asked me to take her help whenever needed. She was happy to come across me who cares for dogs as much as she does. It was lovely to have the conversation with her , like minded people who think about our furry animals. It was like a reminder that keep doing the good work, it'll be recognised on its own time.
Also later during my walk this man came to me and another girl who was feeding with me to tell about his initiative of teaching the kids of the skin area. He had seen us in the past week and thought that we could be compassionate people who would be interested in such a project. It's his pilot project and he discussed it with us. He asked us to volunteer to teach those kids. It was so lovely to know about this. There are good people around us, just little bit difficulty to find. I'm really looking forward in how I can become a part of that. Will try to do whatever I can.

I just wanted to share my experience here cause i dont know what to do anymore im so tired, depressed and heart broken. I just had to give up my 3 months old cat to the vet i took him. He had rectal prolapse twice already and i had him stitched up for that. But the second time it happened it was okay for a few days then other complications happened. He wasnt pooping right he kept straining and because he kept doing that he bled on the third day. I then brought him to the vet but all the options they gave me were out of my reach. I then decided to surrender him to the vets which one of them agreed upon adopting him. I just hope he adjusts to them quickly even though its hard because i just visited him a while ago as im writing this and he wouldnt eat. His right arm was swollen from the iv because he kept his arm folded when he sleeps. Its still so heart breaking. I still do wanna care for him and i want to take him back but then i realized if i took him home and it happens again i wouldnt be able to help him because i dont know what to do. At least now that hes with the vets they can administer first aid whenever he needs it. I just want whats best for him and i hope this is one of them.

Sorry this is a bit long i just needed to share this. It hurts so bad and i dont know if i did the right choice but i just want him to live and i know that they could help him compared to me. I really did try my best and looked for every option i could think of its just so heart breaking when i see him suffering and i couldnt do anything for him.

Day 157 of writing journal entries.

I had a good day today! Same drill as usual, anime, sleep, food, and a workout, but it was nice. Then I went to youth group and that was fun! I’ve met some really nice people there.

I overheard a strange situation at the neighbors though. I’m not sure what to think of it. In short, I heard a scream, man comes out and yells at his dog, and then drags it into the house aggressively. My thoughts are that the dog did something and then the man got wayyyy to mad at it. I hope the girl and the dog are both okay… I hear fighting from their house a lot.

Anyway, other than that scare, everything else went just fine! Hope everyone else is doing good to! ☺️
