I have episodes of depression and I am currently trying to make the most out of the time period where I am not depressed. If this is the case for you try doing this. Hold onto yourself when you feel depressed and the other time when you notice even a slightest elevation in your mood try doing something which motivates you. You deserve the best life possible my friend. I understand how devastating these times might be but remember you are enough and worthy and capable of things. Take care and sure find a therapist or get professional help if you feel your symptoms are getting worse. See , these are just symptoms and remember you are much more than your symptomsπŸ™‚

Thanks… but in my family it’s not possible to go for therapist they will term it as mad. Any ideas to overcome without therapist

I was secretly attending therapy on call. Recently my family came to know about it and one is supportive and another asking me why do I need this all. But I know I needed it and I told the same.

I will sure send any ideas that come my way to overcome it. You are not alone. πŸ™‚

I came back with few tips as you asked.
You can start by reading articles on @nowandme or few videos from psychologists on Wetheyoung. Research and figure out what strategies suit you the best.
Look for any existing health issue like thyroid.
Know your patterns. What time or what is causing you to push you into depression. Once you try to find out the reason you can work on that.
I know how it feels when your past is playing a huge role in your mind. But one day I am sure you can smile and let it go and let it pass.
Forward is the way you should aim to move.
I could bombard you with all the information but you should understand for yourself what suits you the best.
