How to get through social anxiety β¦i too scared of it π
start from small things like go for shopping alone or just for a 5 min walk alone. Try giving a smile to people who are looking at you face. First start from what i told it will really help.
Social Anxiety is a real trouble but by you just opening up about it, It does show alot of strength you have much more than you thought you did. You got this dear friend.
I would suggest just start with the little things. Talking to your close friends. Expressing yourself to your closest family and friends. After this slowly go out with your close friends to places and try meeting and getting to know their circle which will put u in a certain balance one side your with your friend or family which will reassure yourself and other side seeing them interact u may find similarities.
Along with this start doing small tasks on your own and when interacting with people try starting a conversation. It can be very tiny interaction. Maybe you take a Cab you can try striking a conversation with the driver βHow was your day?β or βWhat do you think abt so and so thing currently going on?β small conversation starters and listening to them will help u to warm up for inputting and talking to them more. This interaction can be with anyone a waiter at a restaurant, cashier etc. Just daily little things to help boost yourself up.
Pretty sure you can handle this and start with the little things and before you know it you will be in a flow rocking social events π€©π»
