How do I heal from someone that never had the same feelings as me? I liked them so much but they didn’t feel the same despite going on dates and texting. I always catch myself feeling okay without them but other days I miss them. It’s pretty lonely because they were the person I would text all day and now I don’t have anyone. I need ways to get them out of my head and try to be happier.

Heyy!!

Sometimes you don’t get what you want but that’s okay because you have to go on with your life. You have to understand that they didn’t owe you a lifetime or forever feelings or bonding, they wanted to get out so they did.
Give it some time and this thought will definitely get out of your head. Don’t rush into anything. Start doing things that make you happy, it could dancing, singing, writing, reading shopping, anything that makes you happy and do it more often. Whenever you catch yourself having some bad thoughts that make you sad or overthinking, just remind yourself that you want to get all these thoughts out of your head and you are better without these thoughts and anything that makes you sad. Go out for a walk every day. Go out to eat with your friends or parents or siblings or cousins, whoever you enjoy the most with. Watch a good show online in your free time. Do things that keep you busy and things that make you happy. Start investing your time in things that benefit you and don’t rush. Take it slow, give it as much time as it needs. You will be alright!
