How do I deal with embarrassing thoughts? The ones that make me want to just roll up into a tight ball and just die. What do I do? They always come back and they always just get worse and worse. I can’t make them stop

We all have random thoughts, they aren’t you. You could hear something on tv or read something and it will just be in your mind. Don’t try to force them to go away, the more you focus on them with anger and negative emotions the more they are going to come back. Just notice the thoughts, breath and accept them. They will go away and then come back again but as long as you keep letting them go with acceptance and love they won’t torment you. Eventually, you’ll have the thoughts and be like β€œoh its that thought again. whatever”.

I know this may sound bizarre but just take it one step at a time. You are ok
